A Simple, Spring Break, San Clemente Day

what a way to spend the later part of a day...  introducing my little ones to a walk along a pier, savoring delic. Mexican food, combing through books and toys at an adorable children's shop, sweet treats at Baskin Robbins, which Cameryn affectionately calls "Cops and Robbins" and an old school candy store where you could just loose track of all time. All in............

Mad morning rush: some sweet moments with my Camerino.

It was the typical morning rush between schools runs, but this morning was different, quite special in fact. Cameryn was off for his first sleep over (at grandma and grandpa's house wink) yet, very first sleep over indeed. My emotions were mixed. He is getting so big, so fast. He posed for me, if only for a few seconds to capture these sweet moments. Those eyes for which you can just about see his sweet little soul, deep dimples, smile that lights up a room. Let's not forget those freckles. All of the above... gets me every time.
And yes, he is having a ball at grandma and grandpas. I am sure he will return home about a foot taller. : )

To Build a Heavenly Basket

About two months ago we set out to build an auction basket. I don't think at that time we realized how amazing this basket would turn out and just how much fun we would have creating it. Thank you to both second grade classes for your generous support. Together we raised $760 for the recipients to put torward their heavenly Central California Coast getaway, as they wish. Thank you to Cherie Carbine and Jaynie Sullivan for all of your hard work and Janet Colucci for your continued support. A special thank you to Alexis Parker for donating all of the items which has made this basket fit for a king. We thought you might enjoy seeing the finished product. May we present..... "Oh Heavenly Hearst." sket About would present..... earst

A St. Patricks Paydate

Although it is the day after Easter, or La Pasquetta as they are celebrating in Italia today,  nice to reflect on this beautiful day in March. The sun was shining and so were three little boys..... enjoying being sweet seven, eight and four respectively in the sunshine on St. Patrick's Day.
