Cherry Blossom Tree

I love this time of year, when the cherry blossom trees begin to sprout those beautiful pink flowers, which I have really begun to pay attention to. They start with a few small blossoms in mid January and then begin to change into red leaves at the beginning of March. The elements all came together on this day in late February. I had been watching the Cherry Blossom in our garden over the past month, give or take, go from a few pink blossoms to ready to rock and roll for its debut.

We had a family fun day at the Zoo over the President's Day Weekend. Might I add it was a Zoo! Cohl played hookey from school, as my husband was off that Monday, yet Cohl not on holiday until the following weekend. Cohl enjoyed the face painting. Cameryn had just had his face painted at Disneyland right after the New Year, so he wasn't very interested.
