As a spectator of the Red Carpet, you are not allowed to stand up. If so, you are asked to leave. As a photographer, your natural instinct is to stand up. The people around you become your fast family, educating one another on who is who (In the case of television stars, I was one of the ones being educated). With some dodging and ducking around your Golden Globes family (all while on your behind), you capture what you are able to.

Safety is of utmost consideration at the Globes. The Swat Team relaxes and watches the Globes from a suite at the Beverly Hilton, oh just in case.
