A Gift of Two Aunts

It has been much to long since we have visited the New Children's Museum in San Diego. A membership from two of my sister-in-laws and doting aunts to our little ones, have created many special memory's over the past few years at this haven of imagination and exploration. A recent overhaul in January (which the museum does every few years) results in a play land of trash. The artist's exhibits and museum's attractions rest on a theme: junkyard extravaganza. 12 artists and one mission: unfolding infinite possibilities.

Imagination one has left to share and inspire. The simplicity... a lighter and recycled water bottles ignite: serine sea creatures transpire.

One's trash is another's treasure.

Cameryn's Clam made from plastic that we choose together. All the materials to choose from had been disposed of and later cleaned for a child's creation.

And it just might be......

A little hopstoch and cherry blossoms:
A reminder that spring, oh spring... looms just around the corner.
